Marian Jean Boehm

of Emmaus

Marian Jean (Brown) Boehm, 93, of Emmaus, died Nov. 25, 2025. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of Henry and Helen (Boyd) Brown. She was the wife of the late Marvin H. Boehm for 68 years.

She graduated from Allentown High School in 1949 and attended Allentown Business College. She worked for many years in clerical positions, including PP&L and a longtime position at Wayne Feather Plumbing and Heating of Emmaus.

She and her husband also owned the Emmaus Cab Company and later, the Emmaus Answering Service.

In addition, she volunteered for the Lehigh Valley Braille Guild for many years translating written books into braille.

She is survived by sons, Christopher and his wife, Maryann, Mark and his wife, Chris; daughters, Susan Mohr and her husband, Daniel, Nancy Dutt and her husband, Jeffrey; daughter-in-law, Ellen Overholt and her husband, Scott, of Harrisburg; grandchildren, Marla Rush and her husband, Matt, Megan, Matthew and his wife, Erica, Erik, Michael and his wife, Dipal, Melanie Carwell and her husband, Michael, Kimberly Stauffer and her husband, Justin, Jennifer Mitchell and her husband, Zachary; niece, Deborah Brobst, of Allentown; nephew, Lawrence Kichline, of Allentown; 13 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a son, Jeffrey; sister, Agnes Kichline; grandchildren, Tara and Benjamin.
