Margaret C. Schirmacher, 87, formally of Whitehall, died Nov. 27, 2025, at Riverton Rehab and Healthcare Center in Allentown. She was the wife of the late William F. Schirmacher for 54 years.

Born in Bath, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Rose Check.

She retired from ShopRite.

She is survived by a son, William F.; a daughter, Veronica Gathagan and husband Nick; and two grandchildren, Barbra Schirmacher and Liam Edward Gathagan.

There will be a calling time 10-11 a.m., followed by a funeral service 11 a.m., Dec. 4 at the funeral home, 327 Chestnut St., Coplay.
