John Lindenmuth

of Whitehall

John Lindenmuth, 80, of Whitehall, died Nov. 21, 2025, at the Brian D. Perin St. Luke’s Hospice House in Bethlehem. He was the husband of Patricia M. (Stanczyk) Lindenmuth for 57 years.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late George F. and Lillian (Ward) Lindenmuth.

He graduated from Liberty High School.

He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War as a helicopter crew chief.

He later worked as a millwright at Bethlehem Steel for 32 years before retiring in 1997.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three daughters, Gina Miller and husband Douglas of Schnecksville, Monica Guiher of Whitehall and Lisa Lindenmuth and partner Robert Hafer of Fogelsville; a son, John and wife Lori of Lafayette Hill; six grandchildren, Courtney, Dylan, Morgan, Marshall, David and Cash; four siblings, Joyce Best, Sally Loftus, Robert and Carol Rogers; and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by seven siblings.
