Charlotte Albright

of Macungie

Charlotte E. Albright, 77, of Macungie and formerly of Emmaus, died Nov. 28, 2025. She was the wife of the late Harold “Hal” W. Albright for 45 years. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Lois (Leighton) Klinger.

A 1966 graduate of Whitehall High School, she attended the Fashion Institute of New York before taking a job in the proof room at The Call-Chronicle newspaper, now The Morning Call. Following the newspaper, and taking time to raise her family, she worked for 25 years at Air Products at their headquarters in Trexlertown.

A lifelong learner, she studied floral design, earned a paralegal certificate from LCCC and even took motorcycle lessons.

Her most cherished times were spent with family, hosting gatherings where she made everyone feel welcome and supporting family members’ various activities.

Active in her church, she was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Emmaus, where she previously served on council, on event committees and as chair of the new member committee. She was a member of the Emmaus Junior Women’s Club in the 1970s and 1980s.

She enjoyed travel, especially to the beach and New Mexico.

She is survived by a daughter, Rebecca; son, Bradley and his wife, Jennifer; grandson, Garrett Bartels; great-granddaughter, Everly Bartels; sisters, Nancy Klinger, Lois Kunkle, Kathy McCartan, Liz Ulaner; brother, Charlie Klinger.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a sister, Diane Diehl.

A memorial service will be held 10:30 a.m. Dec. 10 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 501 Chestnut St., Emmaus, 18049. A calling hour will be held 9:30-10:30 a.m. before the service in the church.
