Experience a special candlelight tour Dec. 5 at Governor Wolf Historical Society, 6600 Jacksonville Road. Reviving an old tradition, GWHS will offer a candlelight tour of five homes.

The private showing of the homes, starting 5:30 p.m., is for the homeowners, volunteers, decorators and patrons. There is a cost.

The Kreidersville Covered Bridge Association is holding its tree-lighting celebration, set for 4:30-5:30 p.m. Dec. 6 at 100 Covered Bridge Road. Enjoy hot cocoa, a visit from Santa, homemade baked goods and an old-fashioned bonfire.

The rain date is planned for Dec. 7.

Come join the GWHS for the annual Christmas house tour, planned for 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Dec. 6. The theme this year is “O Tannenbaum.”

Immerse yourself in the spirit of the season and bring back memories of Christmas as you look for creatively decorated trees. Florists and garden clubs will again provide decorations.

GWHS is hosting its annual candlelight concert Dec. 14. Music will be provided by the popular Lehigh Valley group Piper’s Request and will feature a lively mix of Celtic and seasonal favorites.

Doors open 6:30 p.m., and the music will start 7 p.m.

East Allen Township’s Christmas in the Park is set for 5-8 p.m. Dec. 20 at Bicentennial Park West, 5351 Park West Lane. Celebrate the season with a tree lighting, Santa visit, live music and more.

The Allen Township trash and recycling collection scheduled for Dec. 25 will be postponed until Dec. 26, due to the Christmas holiday.
