Shirlene K. Cerceo, 90, of Lancaster and formerly of Whitehall, died Nov. 15, 2025, at Willow Valley Nursing Communities in Willow Street. She was the wife of the late Alphonse Cerceo.

Born in Whitehall, she was the daughter of the late Harold E. and Isabel (Weaver) Kuhns.

She was last employed as a teacher for Ridley School District, Folsom, for 36 years until retiring in 1993.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Lancaster, for years.

She was a member of Pennsylvania State Education Association and National Education Association.

She is survived by a brother, Darryll Kuhns and wife Kathleen of Ephrata; a sister, Sharon Stepien and husband David of Hobe Sound, Fla.; four nieces, Janet, Jennifer, Kristi and Emily; and three nephews, Tim, Craig and Jacob.

She was predeceased by a brother, Dale and his wife Barb.
