Nancy A. Husak, 87, of Northampton, died Nov. 16, 2025, at Whitehall Manor. She was the wife of Ihor Husak for 65 years.

Born in Northampton, she was the daughter of the late Charles Sr. and Pauline (Pidstawski) Takacs.

She was a graduate of Sacred Heart Hospital School of Nursing in Allentown.

She was a registered nurse and provided patient care in hospitals and medical offices throughout her 40-year career.

She was a member of St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church in Northampton where she was a longtime member of the church choir, the ladies guild and an avid pierogi maker.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, David and wife Becky of Windham, N.H.; a daughter, Susan Hertzog and husband Tom of Northampton; three grandchildren, Aaron Hertzog and wife Alyssa, Olivia and Piers; a brother, Charles Takacs Jr.; and three nephews.
