Michael James Freyman, 72, of Catasauqua, died Nov. 18, 2025, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg. He was the husband of Jodi L. (Kern) Freyman for 48 years.

He was the son of the late Earl A. Jr. and Patricia (Souders) Freyman.

He was a Class of 1972 graduate of Catasauqua High School.

He worked with his father and brothers at E.A. Freyman & Sons, the family’s general contracting business. He later spent 39 years with Private Industry Council, retiring in 2016 as IT director. Alongside his full-time career, he also ran Captured Dreams Photo and Video, photographing weddings throughout the Lehigh Valley.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two children, Josh A. and Tricia J. Armbuster; a grandson, Ethan M. Armbuster; three brothers, Steven H. with Bonnie, Christopher A. with Lori and Mathew J.; a sister, Tina Smith; three siblings-in-law, Tod R. Kern, Troy D. Kern with Michelle and Tara N. and husband Roger Drayer; and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by two brothers, John H. and Earl A. III; a nephew, Earl IV; and a brother-in-law, Ralph Smith.

A private service will be held for immediate family.
