Frieda M. Taschler, 91, formally of Whitehall, died Nov. 5, 2025, at her daughter’s home in Marco Island, Fla. She was the wife of the late Arthur F. “Artie” Taschler Sr. for 52 years.
Born in Whitehall, she was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Teresia (Kish) Kukitz.
She was a graduate of Whitehall High School.
She worked for Consolidated Cigar Factory in Coplay. She was also a part of the team when opening Hess’s Distribution Center. She was commissioned by Max Hess to sketch designs for his ads. In addition, she was recruited to Philadelphia College of Art.
She was a member of St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church in Stiles.
She is survived by two sons, Timothy and companion Lorraine Stefanowski and Arthur F. Jr. and wife Patricia; a daughter, Heidi and husband Thomas Bouselli, with whom she resided; six grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.
She was predeceased by 10 siblings.
