Peter Peczenij

of Breinigsville

Peter Peczenij, 85, of Breinigsville, died peacefully at home Nov. 11, 2025. He was the devoted husband of Judith Anne (Brichta) Peczenij with whom he shared 62 wonderful years of marriage. Born in Vishnivchik, Ukraine, he was the son of the late Lauro and Katherina (Hrabik) Peczenij.

He spent his early years in Mittenwald, Germany, before immigrating to the United States in 1950 aboard a troop ship from Bremen. He worked as a dedicated truck driver for more than 30 years with Tartan and, later, Sysco Foods, retiring in 1999.

Known for his honesty, humor and quiet strength, he took great pride in his work and his family. He loved spending time with his family.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Michael and his wife, Christina, of Nazareth; grandsons, Brandon and Justin, of Allentown.

He enjoyed watching football and other sports and remained an active weight lifter for more than 50 years. He will be remembered for his kindness, perseverance and the love he shared with all who knew him.
