EHS names student of the week

Q. Please provide the first names of your family members: parents, siblings and pets.

A. My parents are Andrea and Dustin Grim, I have a younger brother named Ben and a dog named Jill.

Q. As a senior, do you have any specific goals you will pursue this academic year?

A. I want to enjoy my final year at Emmaus and continue to focus academically in order to help me achieve my future goals.

Q. What is your favorite class at Emmaus High School? Why?

A. My favorite class at EHS has been AP Government. I think this class offered lots of extremely valuable information and overall found it very enjoyable.

Q. Have you received any special awards or recognition?

A. I am in National Honor Society and have been on the Principal’s Honor Roll throughout high school

Q. Are you involved in any extracurricular activities? How has being involved in these organizations impacted your high school experience?

A. I have been on the golf team for the past three years. I am a member of Aevidum, Think Pink, the pickleball club and I am also the president of the Emmaus Leo Club. Being involved in these activities has taught me many important skills such as leadership and perseverance and is also where I have met many of my closest friends.

Q. What do you consider your biggest challenge to date?

A. I think the greatest challenge I’ve had to overcome was staying focused on school and finding a balance between sports, school and work.

Q. At this time, what are your plans for the future beyond high school?

A. In the future I am looking to pursue a degree in mortuary science and become a funeral director.

Q. If you could spend an evening conversing with an historically significant person, whom would you choose? Why?

A. Personally, I would like to have a conversation with Thomas Lynch because I think he would have some insightful advice that would be very interesting and helpful to learn.

Q. For what would you like to be remembered?

A. I would like to be a remembered as a kind and reliable student, teammate and friend who always was resilient and hardworking.

Q. Do you have any advice for your peers?

A. Take every opportunity you’re given and work hard to accomplish your goals.
