PRESS PHOTO COURTESY Laura Pierorni FloresRising young dancer Francesca Flores from Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, recently took center stage in Los Angeles, performing at two of the dance world’s most prestigious events – the Industry Dance Awards at Avalon Hollywood and the Gala of the Stars at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. Both events were held in support of the Dancers Against Cancer Foundation, which unites the global dance community in the fight against cancer. Francesca was featured in the opening number of both award shows, choreographed by JoJo Siwa. Flores is passionate, disciplined and creative, and continues to expand her performance experience through opportunities on world-class stages while training toward a professional career in dance. “It’s amazing to see young dancers like Francesca step into the spotlight on international stages with such professionalism and joy,” said her mentor Menina Fortunato, a celebrated performer who has worked with Britney Spears, Beyoncé, Earth, Wind & Fire, and Paula Abdul, and appeared on television hits such as The X Factor, America’s Got Talent, and Dance Moms.
