Emmaus High School is continuing to succeed with amazing district and state titles, academic achievements and the community continuing to give back, fostering an environment of growth, innovation and student success. Huge shout-outs to Madalyn McCartney for winning first place as the girls cross-country state champion, field hockey for winning districts against Parkland High School, boys cross-country for winning districts for the first time in 24 years, boys soccer for a tough battle against Parkland at districts, football for a tough battle against Easton High School and the cast and crew of “The Diary of Anne Frank” for putting an amazing show on for three nights in a row.
Senior yearbook and graduation photos must be taken and submitted by Dec. 4 to be displayed on the Jumbotron at graduation in May.
Important dates for EHS students; Early dismissal Nov. 19, winter orchestra concert Nov. 20, winter symphonic band concert Nov. 25 and school closure Nov. 26 through Dec. 1.
Each month, Emmaus High School’s very own newspaper, The Stinger, not only posts in print, but online. Check out many of the amazing students’ written articles about various stories, whether it’s news, features, opinion, arts and culture, sports, a crossword and its new podcast on various platforms such as Instagram.
Students are invited to participate in the next Principal Advisory meeting 10:30-11:30 a.m. Nov. 20. The first 40 students to sign up will receive an email pass to attend. These meetings are used to discuss ideas and suggestions to improve school for everyone.
Rotary Youth Exchange is an opportunity for a student to be matched with a “new friend” from another country and spend three weeks in his/her home and having that person spend three weeks here. There will be an informational meeting Nov. 13 in Room 320.

A huge thank you to all of the participants of the animal food drive; all items were donated to families in need.
The EHS community has demonstrated its commitment to excellence and service. As we prepare for upcoming events and milestones, let’s continue to have school spirit, celebrate achievements and foster a strong sense of community spirit. Go Hornets!
