Reminder: Catasauqua Area School District’s winter coat distribution will take place 9 a.m.-noon Nov. 15 at the district administration office, 201 N. 14th St. New and gently used coats will be available for CASD students and their families at no cost.

Sheckler Elementary students will enjoy a Turkey Day pep rally Nov. 21.

There will be early dismissals — noon — Nov. 21-26 for Steckel Elementary students. No lunches will be served.

Schools will be closed Nov. 27-Dec. 1 for Thanksgiving break.

CASD Board of Education meetings are normally scheduled for the second Tuesday of each month; however, next month’s meeting will be the first Tuesday of the month. Directors will meet 7-8:30 p.m. Dec. 2 in the board room at the administrative offices, 201 N. 14th St.

The fourth-grade concert will be held 7-8 p.m. Dec. 17.

Looking ahead: CASD will be closed Dec. 22-Jan. 2, 2026, for winter break.
