The Parkland field hockey team will compete for a District 11 title this week.
The Trojans beat Easton 2-1 Tuesday in the district semifinals to earn a spot in the final against Emmaus.
Parkland had lost to Easton 6-1 early in the regular season, on Aug. 28. The Trojans met the Red Rovers in the East Penn Conference semifinals and fell 2-1 in overtime.
As the No. 3 seed in the District 11 Class 3A playoffs, Parkland opened the tournament with a 1-0 quarterfinal win over No. 6 seed East Stroudsburg last week to earn another shot at Easton in the semifinals.
Goal scorers and statistics from those games was not received by the Press.
The Trojans will now try to unseat top seed Emmaus in the title game, which is scheduled for Thursday at Whitehall at 7 pm. The Hornets seek their 37th consecutive district crown.
