The Northwestern cross country teams both went undefeated in a meet last week at Palmerton.

The Tigers’ Rosie Nestor won the girls race with a time of 20:36. Teammates Katie Furman (11th), Ava Smedstad (24th), Emily Fornwalt (28th) and Charlotte David (30th) made up the rest of Northwestern’s team score.

The Tiger boys team was led by Noah Griffith’s fourth-place overall finish at the meet. Teammates Brady Furman (7th), Michael Richards (9th), Isaac Grubb (10th) and Jonathan Fornauf (11th).

With one meet left in the regular season, Northwestern’s boys team is 18-5 and in fourth place in the Colonial League standings. The Tiger girls are 18-6 and also in fourth place.
