John Moniak Jr., 77, of Allentown, died Nov. 10, 2025 at home. He was the husband of the late Phyllis A. (Janicki) Moniak. Born in Old Forge, Pa., he was the son of the late John and Olga (Kenjerski) Moniak.

He was a member of Cathedral Church of St. Catharine of Siena, Allentown. Before retiring in 2009, he worked as a CPA in the financial department of PPL Electric Utilities, where he worked for over 30 years. He will be remembered for his passion for finance and lending his skills by volunteering on the church financial committee and assisting at his son’s business, The Wicked Chef.

He is survived by sons, John and his wife, Georgiann, of Allentown, Stephen, of Lancaster; daughter, Beverly and her husband, Christopher Fell, of Avondale; brother, Charles and his wife, AnnMarie, of Emmaus; five grandchildren, Nicholas, Kate and Chase Moniak, Christopher and Madelyn Fell.

He was predeceased by a brother, Paul.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 a.m. Nov. 14 at Cathedral Church, 1825 W. Turner St., Allentown, 18104. Calling hour will begin 10 a.m. at the church.
