David J. Resh, 70, of Slatington, died Nov. 2, 2025, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest, Allentown. He was the husband of Lois (Steigler) Resh for 28 years.

Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Thomas D. and Rose (Wonderly) Resh.

He served in the U.S. Navy during peacetime before being honorably discharged.

He worked for Agere as a bench hand for a few years before moving to the U.S. Postal Service as a rural carrier. He worked for USPS for more than 20 years before retiring.

He was a member of Bowmanstown Rod and Gun Club.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a stepson, Daniel Motika and wife Liz of White Oak; stepgranddaughters, Jillian and Kaitlynn; a brother, Charlie and wife Carol of Fogelsville; and a sister, Marian Peifley of Allentown.

He was predeceased by a brother, Daniel; and a sister, Mildred McKeeby.
