Mack Trucks retiree
Charles Vito Mesics, 77, of Slatington, died Nov. 8, 2025, at Country Meadows of Bethlehem. He was the husband of Carol M. (Roth) Mesics to whom he was married 53 years. Born in Palmerton, Carbon County, he was the son of the late Charles J. and Irene J. (Sarvajic) Mesics.
He was a graduate of The Pennsylvania State University, Class of 1970, with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. He was employed at Mack Trucks, Inc. in Allentown for 30 years before retiring in 2000. He was a member of Union United Church of Christ, Neffs.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Amy L., of Germansville; son, Eric C. and his wife, Stacy, of Germansville; sister, Alice M. Snuffer, of Scottsdale, Ariz.; grandchildren, Kate, Luke, Carson, Logan.
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Nov. 24, at the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville, with the Rev. Kris P. Snyder officiating.
