Favorite subject: My favorite subject is anatomy because I like learning the science behind how the body works.

Activities: I’m editor in chief of Liberty Life newspaper. I’m also involved with Liberty Choraliers, and am in some of our select ensembles and on the leadership team. I also recently got inducted into NHS.

Next steps: Attend a four year university to study nursing

Career goals: I would like to be a CNM (certified nurse midwife) and work with moms through a hospital/birthing center

Heroes: One of my heroes is my grandmother. She has been faced with a lot of adversity in life and always manages to push through them with a positive attitude

Hobbies: I enjoy baking, but I’m not the best at it yet. I also spend a lot of time listening to music and podcasts.

Current job: I work at The Spot Drive-In during the summer and I babysit for several families in town.

Volunteer/community work: I volunteer at St. Luke’s Hospital once a week. I also do community service with Northeast MS (reading olympics and drama club)

Likes: I love watching Philly sports with my dad. I also enjoy spending time with my friends, and hanging out with my little cousins!

Dislikes: I hate getting stuck behind super slow drivers.

Greatest accomplishment: Completing almost 200 hours of community service since Freshman year

Advice for peers: View the world from your own eyes, not the eyes of others! It’s easy to lose sight of what you want and like when you’re always seeing and hearing the opinions of others.
