Frederic “Fritz” W. Thomas, 91, of Bethlehem, died at home on November 1, 2025. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late William R. Thomas III and Lucy (Watts) Thomas. He was the husband of Judith “Judy” (Fretz) Thomas for 62 years.

After graduation from The Lawrenceville School, he earned a B.A. from Princeton University in 1955.

He was a lieutenant in the United States Army in Germany.

He had a career in small business ownership.

He was a longtime member of the Saucon Valley Country Club. He supported The Bach Choir, Historic Bethlehem and Moravian Academy.

He crafted and flew model airplanes.

He is survived by two children, Lucy Thomas and Fritz Jr. and his wife Denise’ and three grandchildren, Will, Paul and Sally.

He was predeceased by a sister, Nancy.
