‘Harvey’ opens Nov. 6 at Salisbury High School
Salisbury High School Theatre presents “Harvey” Nov. 6-9 in the school auditorium.
The Pulitzer Prize-winning comedy by Mary Chase, is the story of Elwood P. Dowd and his best friend Harvey, a 6-foot-tall invisible rabbit. When Elwood begins introducing Harvey around town, his sister and her daughter determine to commit Elwood to a sanitarium. Due to a mistake, his sister is committed instead.
The play is performed according to a licensing agreement with Dramatists Play Service, Inc. and Broadway Licensing.
The play is directed by Shannon Barry O’Grady who also assisted Chris West with the set design.
Original music is by Andrew Mark Schaffer and lighting design is by Chris West and Rafael Carpo. Stage management/run crew leader is Max Beck and stage management/sound board operator is Kaylee Carpenter. Light board operator is Rafael Carpo.
Assistant stage manager is Anthony Sacco; costume design is by O’Grady assisted by Anthony Jarjous.
