Nov. 5

Emmaus Garden Club will meet noon at Bethel Bible Fellowship Church, 418 Elm St., Emmaus. Entrance at the back of the building; parking at Bethel and St. John’s UCC, 139 N. Fourth St., Emmaus. The program will be “A Conversation about C-Change.” Kathleen Biggins will present a program on the impact of climate change.

Nov. 6

The Lehigh Carbon Community College Career Development Center will host its Fall 2025 Job Fair 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Schnecksville campus in the Community Services Center. Admission is free and the event is open to students, alumni and community members to network and apply for various open positions with more than 80 registered employers. Job seekers should bring multiple copies of their resume, dress for success and be prepared to network.

Nov. 8

Old Zionsville United Church of Christ, 5981 Fountain Road, Old Zionsville, will hold its 28th annual bazaar and filled basket auction 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Event includes a door prize drawing, 50/50 raffle, a bake sale and sale of light refreshments. Salisbury Elementary School PTO fall craft and vendor fair 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Salisbury High School, 500 E. Montgomery St., Allentown. Admission is free. Event includes a basket raffle and food will be available for purchase.

The Emmaus Borough/Upper Milford Township Joint Environmental Advisory Council will host a bulb and seed swap 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Emmaus Public Library, 11 E. Main St., Emmaus. Participants who wish to may bring extra bulbs from their garden to share and swap with others and are welcome to include a photo of the plants so others can see what the plants look like when in bloom. Nov. 10

Organizers invite members of the public to join area Marines to celebrate the 250th birthday of the U.S. Marine Corps with a ceremony 4-4:30 p.m. at the Marine Corps Monument in Cedar Beach Park, Allentown. The event will be held rain or shine. The ceremony will include color guard, a bugle rendition of the Marine Corps Hymn and a cake cutting ceremony.

Nov. 13

The Emmaus Rotary Club will host a community membership event 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Yergey Brewing, 235 Main St., Emmaus. Visitors will learn about membership opportunities, upcoming projects and the club’s East Penn Feeding Program.

Nov. 15

St. Peter’s Union Church, 7863 St. Peters Road, Macungie, will host its Fall Bazaar 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will include vendors and raffles. Light lunch and baked goods will be available for sale.

Nov. 16

Community Action Lehigh Valley holds its annual meeting 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Wind Creek Bethlehem, 77 Wind Creek Blvd. There is a cost for tickets. The event includes lunch. Visit the website www.communityactionlv.org for details, including ticket information.

Nov. 21-22

The Friends of the Library will hold its fall book sale 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Lower Macungie Library. Friends’ preview night is 5-7:30 p.m. Nov. 20. Join the Friends that night and purchase books before the weekend crowds. There will be a bag sale 2:30-4 p.m. Nov. 22. All proceeds from the sale benefit the library.

Nov. 22

The 15th annual craft/vendor fair will be held 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 22 at the community center, 3450 Brookside Road. Over 120 crafters and vendors will participate. Food is available 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Nov. 23

Old Zionsville UCC, 5981 Fountain Road, Old Zionsville, will host a combined choir and friends concert to celebrate Thanksgiving 3 p.m. Nov. 23 in the sanctuary. There will be instrument solos, hymn singing, story telling, a historical Presidential Thanksgiving Proclamation and the highlight is the combined choir. A time of fellowship will follow the event in the lower social hall. All are welcome to this free event. Invite your friends and neighbors to join in this special time to give thanks. Nov. 25

Hivel Und Dahl Preservation Society will host the program “Ralph Berky — Butter Valley Poet and Naturalist” 7 p.m. in the Upper Milford Township municipal building, 5671 Chestnut St. Ralph W. Berky (1890-1977) was known in the Butter Valley area as “The Birdman.” He was an eccentric figure walking the valley in a long overcoat that had pockets filled with birdseed. Pastor Bob Gerhart will discuss Berky’s unusual life and contributions to Butter Valley. The program is free and all are welcome.
