Tucker’s Toy Run

Before the ride to St. Luke’s Hospital in Fountain Hill, volunteers accepted donations and filled vehicles for the journey to the pediatric unit. The event was started to honor the life of Tucker Stuart, who died in a motorcycle accident in 2011.
Hundreds of motorcycle riders gather for the 15th annual and final Tucker’s Toy Run held Nov. 1. The event started at Tri-Boro Sportsmen Club, 21st and Canal streets, Northampton, and ended at St. Luke’s Children’s Hospital, 801 Ostrum St., Bethlehem. Tucker’s Toy Run was started in honor of the late Tucker Stewart and it benefits children in pediatric hospital units across the Lehigh Valley.
Participants carry the toys they’ve brought to be donated to the children.
Tucker’s Toy Run receives an escort and support from local police and fire departments.
Event attendees peruse the various baskets and raffle items available at Tri-Boro before the ride.
Thousands of donated toys are unloaded at the hospital.
