State police seek help in identifying shooting suspect

Pennsylvania State Police-Troop M, Bethlehem, is investigating a shooting incident that occurred Oct. 24 in Allen Township.
According to the report, troopers responded to the intersection of Nor-Bath Boulevard and Savage Drive, Allen Township, approximately 9:15 p.m. for a report of a shooting.
The victim, a 33-year-old male from Allentown, was uninjured and awaiting the arrival of police.
Upon investigation, police said, it was determined the victim was traveling westbound on Nor-Bath Boulevard in his white Kia sedan. While the victim was traveling through a green light for westbound traffic at the intersection with Savage Drive, the suspect reportedly attempted to illegally walk across Nor-Bath Boulevard from Savage Drive.
In an attempt to not hit the suspect with his vehicle, the victim stopped his vehicle at the intersection of Nor-Bath Boulevard and Savage Drive.
As the victim’s vehicle was stopped, the suspect walked toward the rear of the victim’s vehicle and fired two shots from a handgun, with the shots suspected to have been fired directly up in the air. The suspect then fled the scene on foot.
The victim was not injured, and no there was no damage to the vehicle. A discharged 9 MM bullet casing was recovered at the scene, police said.
The suspect is described as a white, non-Hispanic male with blond hair and a blond beard. He is approximately between 5 feet 8 inches and 5 feet 10 inches tall and about 170 pounds. He is suspected to be approximately 28-35 years old and was described as wearing a dark hoodie, black hat and jeans.
