Moore Township: Police department members take part in No Shave November
Moore Township Police Department is taking part in No Shave November to raise awareness and funds, with all donations going to Lehigh Valley Reilly Children’s Hospital. Officers are following the slogan “help us make a difference — one beard at a time.”

Moore Township Board of Supervisors will next meet 6 p.m. Nov. 10 at the township municipal building, 2491 Community Drive. Note the change from the first Tuesday of the month because of the municipal election.

Moore Township seeks to fill vacancies on the township’s Americans with Disabilities Act Committee. Three people are needed, for one-year terms. The committee is charged to help ensure compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Holy Cross Evangelical Lutheran Church, 696 Johnson Road, Nazareth, hosts Scout Troop 74 meetings 6:30 p.m. every Wednesday in the social hall. Scouts is for boys and girls 10 years old and up.

Township police request all motorists drive defensively and be on guard for kids riding bikes and motorcycles.

Township yard waste drop-off is 7 a.m.-2:25 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and 7 a.m.-dusk Saturdays at the township complex. Note the time change during the week. Drop-off is closed most holidays.
The bins for drop-off are located near the public works garage, through the gate and to the right. There is one bin for weeds and one bin for brush.
