Are you in need of food to help you prepare nutritious meals? The NAMS Food Pantry is open during the school year to provide assistance to families, and items are now available.

The group is collecting food items. Please consider donating to the school’s pantry to help continue its mission.

In addition, the food pantry is currently running a holiday toy drive. Visit the school’s link on the NASD website to find the Amazon wish list. Items can be dropped off at room 379.

There is also now a Northampton Area High School Food Pantry. The NAHS pantry just started for this 2025-26 school year, and it offers food, clothing and hygiene products to students in need and their families. Organizers are trying to get the word out to more families in the district who may be struggling with food insecurity, so they can enroll in the pantry and get a backpack full of food sent home weekly.

If you are interested in donating or are interested in signing up your child for the backpack program, contact Kaitlyn Leh, school social worker, at lehk@nasdschools.org.
