Eighth-grade students will take tours of Lehigh Career and Technical Institute, set for 8:30-11 a.m. Nov. 6. Permission slips were due Oct. 31.

Sports physicals will take place Nov. 10 at Catasauqua High School.

There will be no school Nov. 11 for Veterans Day. Teachers will have an in-service day.

The annual winter coat distribution will be held 9 a.m.-noon Nov. 15 at the district administration office, 201 N. 14th St. New and gently used coats will be available for students and their families at no cost.

The CMS parent teacher forum will next meet 6 p.m. Nov. 18 in the school’s multimedia center.

The Thanksgiving holiday is approaching! There will be an early dismissal Nov. 26, with CMS students dismissing 11 a.m. Lunches will not be served.

Schools will be closed Nov. 27-Dec. 1. Classes will resume Dec. 2.
