Trick or Treat Night Oct. 31 in Upper Macungie

Upper Macungie Township Community Trick or Treat Night will take place 6-8 p.m. Oct. 31.
The township will present its Rocktoberfest 6-9 p.m. Oct. 25 at Grange Park, 360 Grange Road. The concert will feature The Left Edge 7:30 p.m.
This one-of-a-kind concert in the park will bring classic rock hits, epic rock climbing challenges and high-intensity fitness challenges as well as games, food trucks and vendors.
Lil Athletics Multi-Sport classes for kids ages 2-6 years old will take place Thursdays Nov. 6-20 in the gymnasium at Veterans Elementary School, 250 Twin Ponds Road, Breinigsville. Times are 5-5:45 p.m. for kids ages 2-3 years old; 5:50-6:35 p.m. for kids ages 3-4 years old and 6:45-7:30 p.m. for kids ages 5-6 years old.
Participants should wear sneakers and comfortable athletic attire. Parents must remain at all classes. Kids will be introduced to multiple sports in a fun, noncompetitive, instructional program.
Lil Athletics uses fun, colorful props and equipment to add to the upbeat environment and make each lesson exciting for all. Lil Athletics uses age-appropriate equipment in a fun and positive environment.
Upper Macungie Township has partnered with Wildlands Conservancy to offer individuals and families to partake in its Hooty Hoot Hike 6-7 p.m. Nov. 14 at Lone Lane Park, 30 Lone Lane. Hang out with one of Wildlands Conservancy’s resident owls before going on a quest through the Lone Lane wooded path to try and locate wild owls. Explore owl pellets and learn about their diets.

Good Will Fire Company No. 1 of Trexlertown, 7723 Hamilton Blvd., Trexlertown, will hold its craft show with over 60 plus crafters 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 8. The kitchen will be open and they will offer baked items, vegetable and chicken corn noodle soup for sale. There will be a basket raffle and Chinese auction. There is no entrance fee.

St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, 1249 Trexlertown Road, Trexlertown, will hold its fall bazaar with a quilt raffle, crafts and attic treasures 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 8. St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1028 Church St., Fogelsville, will hold its next free community dinner sponsored by Sharon and Bob Snyder 5 p.m. Nov. 14 while supplies last. Anyone interested in volunteering should call the church at 610-395-5535 if you are able to lend a hand.
Morgenland Church, 3120 Weidasville Road, Orefield, will hold an all-you-can-eat spaghetti and meatball dinner 4-7 p.m. Nov. 1. The meal includes two homemade meatballs, a salad, drink and homemade dessert. Take out is also available. Tickets are available at the door. There is a cost for adults and children 5-12 years old. Children under 4 enjoy dinner for free.
The church is handicap accessible if needed at end of church, lower level. There will also be a basket raffle.
They are also accepting orders until Nov. 2 for their hoagie sale. Choose either regular Italian with everything, no peppers, no onions with peppers, no onions or peppers; ham and cheese, no onions or peppers; turkey, no onions or peppers; roast beef, no onions or peppers; tuna or veggie. Ingredients are supplied by Thomson’s Meat Market, Walnutport. Pickup will take place 4-6 p.m. Nov. 11. To place an order, call Marilyn at 610-395-6885.
The church is also accepting orders until Nov. 10 for their homemade candy sale. Choose either light or dark chocolate peanut clusters, raisin clusters, peanut butter, covered pretzels, caramels, cashew turtles, medium chocolate nonpareils, white chocolate nonpareils with crushed peppermint, dark chocolate cream filled peanut roll, light chocolate peanut butter peanut roll and dark chocolate peppermint patties in a half pound or pound.
Candy pickup will take place 9 a.m. to noon Dec. 13 at the church.

Ziegels Union Church, 9990 Ziegels Church Road, Breinigsville, will host Vince’s Cheesesteak food truck to benefit Wreaths Across America 3-7 p.m. Nov. 11. Ziegels will also hold its second annual handmade market 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 15. It will feature two floors of crafters and vendors offering a variety of items for sale. There will also be a bake sale and raffle prizes. Slide On By food truck will offer food for purchase.
