Catasauqua Area School District will be closed Nov. 11 for Veterans Day.

Catasauqua Area School District Board of Education meetings are scheduled for 7-8:30 p.m. the second Tuesday of each month. Meetings are generally held in the board room at the administrative offices, 201 N. 14th St.

The next board meeting will be Nov. 11; however, this meeting is held at Lehigh Career and Technical Institute, 4500 Education Park, Schnecksville.

On Nov. 12, Sheckler Elementary School will hold a veterans assembly.

The annual Thanksgiving dinner is set for Nov. 20.

Sheckler Elementary students will enjoy a Turkey Day pep rally Nov. 21.

CASD will have early dismissal Nov. 26. Sheckler students will be dismissed noon.

No lunches will be served.

Schools will be closed Nov. 27-Dec. 1 for Thanksgiving break.
