During the Oct. 16 Lower Macungie Township Board of Commissioners meeting, Resolution 2025-46 was approved. This approves a sewer operation agreement with Lehigh County Authority for the Mertztown Road Pump Station. LCA operations and maintenance for the Mertztown Pump Station and Force Main will be located in Lower Macungie Township.

Resolution 2025-47 was approved which authorizes the transfer of property rights to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation for the Sauerkraut Lane extension project.

Quarry Park, which is newly renovated, was the scene of a trunk or treat event Oct. 18. It was well attended and fun for all.

Resolution 2025-49 approves the final escrow release for the Air Products Headquarters Land Development. This was approved.

An executive session was held for legal purposes.
