NOVA holds annual apple dumpling sale

It was a “Labor of Love” in the Northern Valley EMS kitchen and dining room Oct. 23-26 as the auxiliary members peeled 1,300 apples to make their famous apple dumplings.

It takes a dedicated crew of 39 to 40 to work for the four days preparing and baking the 1,300 pre-ordered apple dumplings for pickup Oct. 25 and 26.

Apples had to peeled and cored.

Dough had to be prepped and ready to be folded around the dumplings and once baked, loaded into containers for pickup by eager eaters.
