District News: Purchase ski tickets

Hit the slopes this winter with the Ski Club. Whether you’re a seasoned skier, a first-time snowboarder or just looking for a fun family activity, now is the perfect time to grab your passes, lessons and rentals at Blue Mountain. Don’t miss out on a season full of adventure, learning and unforgettable memories on the slopes. Passes, lessons and rentals are available for you, your child and the whole family. Ticket sales close Oct. 31.

Reminder: Fall picture retake days are underway. This is for students and teachers who missed the original fall picture day.

Northampton’s baseball team is sponsoring a designer purse bingo, set for Nov. 2 at Klecknersville Rangers Volunteer Fire Company. There will be cash games, a basket raffle and refreshments. Doors open 11 a.m., and bingo begins noon.

DECA students’ Fall for Funds event is scheduled for Nov. 2 at Ciff Cowling Field, 301 Allen St., Bath.

Gates open 12:30 p.m., and the event ends 5 p.m.

Their goal is to provide sports equipment for underprivileged youth; all proceeds will benefit Boys and Girls Club of Bethlehem.

There will be carnival games, pumpkin painting, a basket raffle, fall crafts and more.

Come out and enjoy the fun and help the K-Kids!

PTA meetings are set for November.

Lehigh Elementary School PTA will meet 6:30-8 p.m. Nov. 4 in the cafeteria.

Borough Elementary School PTA is meeting 4-5 p.m. Nov. 12.

Report cards for secondary students will be available on Sapphire beginning Nov. 7. The end of the first marking period was Oct. 28.

Northampton Area Middle School Sewing Club is looking for donations of new or used sewing machines, sewing supplies and fabric. Donations can be dropped off in the main office through Nov. 14.

Nov. 18 is the end of the first trimester for elementary students.

NAMS is currently holding a fundraiser of soft, warm and comfy Northampton blankets measuring 60 inches by 70 inches. All proceeds go toward student rewards and activities.

Each blanket costs $30 (cash only). Your order will not be placed until payment is made.

Send your cash to Mrs. Cowitch at the school’s main office.

Are you in need of food to help you prepare nutritious meals? The NAMS Food Pantry is open during the school year to provide assistance to families, and items are now available.

The group is collecting food items. Please consider donating to the school’s pantry to help continue its mission.

In addition, the food pantry is currently running a holiday toy drive. Visit the school’s link on the NASD website to find the Amazon wish list. Items can be dropped at room 379.
