Nov. 1
Morgenland Church, 3120 Weidasville Road, Orefield, will hold its all-you-can-eat spaghetti and meatball dinner 4-7 p.m. The meal includes spaghetti, two homemade meatballs, a salad, drink and homemade dessert. Take out is also available. Tickets are available at the door. There is a cost for adults and children 5-12 years old. Children under 4 may enjoy dinner for free. Handicap accessible if needed at end of church, lower level. They will also have a basket raffle. For more information, call the church at 610-395-0067.
The Allentown Music Club will present “An American Program” 2:30 p.m. at Asbury United Methodist Church, 1533 Springhouse Road, Allentown, featuring patriotic music, folk music and jazz. Performers are Sherman Cox, clarinet, The Asbury Trio featuring Jonathan Beitler, piano, John Lucas, guitar, Rich Gonya, drums and Patricia Alercia, soprano. The program coordinator is Santa Peters. The event is free and open to the public.

Morgenland Church, 3120 Weidasville Road, Orefield, is accepting orders for its hoagie sale.
Choose either regular Italian with everything, no peppers, no onions with peppers, no onions or peppers; ham and cheese, no onions or peppers; turkey, no onions or peppers; roast beef, no onions or peppers; tuna or veggie.
Ingredients are supplied by Thomson’s Meat Market, Walnutport. Pickup will take place 4-6 p.m. Nov. 11. To place an order, call Marilyn at 610-395-6885.
Nov. 4
The Trojan Alumni Varsity Club’s November membership meeting will be held 6 p.m., at the HOPS-Fogelsville Hotel, 7921 Main St., Fogelsville. The speaker will be Sawyer Marsteller, a senior at Parkland High School and a member of the baseball and ice hockey teams. He serves as a bat boy for the IronPigs and will speak of his experiences there.
Nov. 6
The Lehigh Carbon Community College Career Development Center will host its fall Job Fair 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Schnecksville campus in the Community Services Center in the CSC Ballroom.
This free public event will provide students, alumni and community members the opportunity to network and apply for various open positions with more than 80 registered employers.
The job fair helps to bridge the gap between employers and prospective applicants. It is recommended job seekers bring multiple copies of their resume, dress for success and be prepared to network. For more information call 610-799-1090 or email careerservices@lccc.edu.
Nov. 8
Cetronia Ambulance Corps is hosting its fourth annual free Health and Wellness Expo open to the public 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Joint Operations Facility, 4300 Broadway, Allentown.
This family-friendly community event will feature a variety of health, wellness and safety resources for all ages. Guests can learn lifesaving techniques such as hands-only CPR and Stop-the-Bleed, receive blood pressure screenings and gain car seat safety information.
Additional health services will be provided by community partners, including flu shots from the Allentown Health Bureau, glucose readings from HNL Lab Medicine, hearing screenings from East Stroudsburg University Speech and Hearing Center and guided tours of the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office and Forensic Center.
Other exhibitors include Lehigh Valley Health Network, Meals on Wheels of the Greater Lehigh Valley, Blue Zones Project Lehigh Valley, Good Shepherd Rehabilitation, Steel Fitness Premier, Tails of Valor, American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, Lehigh Valley Center for Independent Living and many more.

The Justin Sheftel Memorial Fund invites women to join them for Ladies Night, a special evening to enjoy good company and support small business owners 5-7 p.m. at Randall’s on the Orchard, Orefield. Attendees are kindly requested to contribute a donation, which can take the form of a gift basket, gift card or monetary contribution, to be utilized in the silent auction during the Justin Sheftel Softball Tournament in 2026.
They’re excited to host a diverse range of vendors, featuring BoutiqueToGo, Threads by Gram and more. Additionally, they’ll be conducting raffles for various prizes throughout the evening, with tickets available for purchase at check-in. St. John’s UCC Fogelsville, 1027 Church St., Fogelsville, will have a sticky bun sale in December. All orders are due by Nov. 26 and the pickup date will be noon to 2 p.m. and 4-6 p.m. Dec. 10 at the church. They are available in plain, walnut, pecan, raisin and coconut.
