                St. Ann Catholic Church member
                Virginia B. “Ginny” Yost, 84, currently of Bellefonte, died peacefully Oct. 17, 2025, in Centre Care Rehabilitation. She was the beloved wife of the late Richard F. “Dick” Yost for more than 50 years and the daughter of the late Paul and Emily (Gulla) Beck. Born in Emmaus, she lived in the Lehigh Valley all her life until moving to Bellefonte in 2016.
                She was an executive secretary at Air Products for 23 years, retiring in 2000.
                She was a lifelong member of St. Ann Catholic Church, Emmaus, serving with the First Friday Prayer Group. She was a Catholic Daughter, a member of St. Ann Women’s Club and was involved with numerous charitable causes including Catholic Charities, the Care Program and the Madonna Program. She also volunteered her time as a rape crisis counselor and at the food bank.
                She is survived by her son, Henry James (Donna); stepdaughter, Debra Mandell (Michael); grandchildren, Alyssa, Leah, Jacob, Nathan and Kaylee; great-grandchildren, Kurt and Hayley; sister, Roseanne (Thomas) Zgura.
                In addition to her husband, she is predeceased by a daughter, Elizabeth Fritz (Richard) and her brothers, Paul and Philip Beck.
                A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Nov. 7 in St. Ann Catholic Church, 415 S. Sixth St., Emmaus. Visitation 10-11 a.m. in the church.
                Schantz Funeral Home, Emmaus is handling arrangements.
