Mary Elizabeth Bedell, 93, of Whitehall, died Oct. 23, 2025. She was the wife of the late Edwin John Bedell for 29 years.

Born in Queens, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late John and Mary (Gough) Traendly.

She was a 1950 graduate of Stella Maris High School.

She worked various office jobs over the years.

She volunteered her time while residing in Florida and with the Refugee Assistance Program in Allentown.

She is survived by two daughters, Jennifer of Long Island and Elizabeth and husband Alan of Danielsville; and a son, Michael and wife Kathy of Long Island.

She was predeceased by a brother, James H. Traendly.

There will be a visitation 11 a.m.-noon, followed by a funeral service noon, Oct. 30 at the funeral home, 327 Chestnut St., Coplay.
