Kathy J. Shumack, 70, of Schnecksville, died Oct. 16, 2025 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. She was the companion of her former spouse, Daryl K. Schiebel. She was the wife of the late Paul Shumack. Born in Lehigh County, she was the daughter of the late Paul Frederick and Betty Marie (Trexler) Schmoyer. She attended Life Church, Macungie. For many years, she played the guitar and she will be remembered for her love of dogs, camping and puzzles.

She is survived by daughter, Nickoli “Niki” M. and her husband, Richard Tyler, of Allentown; brother, Craig Schmoyer, of Freemansburg; sisters, Bonnie, wife of the late Howard Seibert, of Allentown; Sherry and her husband, Bob Purcell, of Freemansburg; grandchildren, Sarah, Micah, Zoe, Zion, Zeke, Zane, Ben, Mary, Stephany, Grace; great grandchildren; nieces, Tina, Flo and Tammy; other nieces and nephews; Paul’s daughter, Christine and her three children.

She was predeceased by her brother Glenn Schmoyer.

Services will be held 1 p.m. Nov. 1 at Life Church Macungie, 1609 Trexlertown Road, Macungie. Visitation with family will be held noon to 1 p.m. at the church. Everyone has been invited to stay for a meal following the service.

Memorials can be considered to an animal charity of one’s choice.
