Jusinski just misses placing, takes 13th
Twelve Northampton harriers competed in the Eastern Pennsylvania Conference Cross Country Championships on Oct. 14 at DeSales University, Center Valley.
Leading the Konkrete Kids in the girls race was Liv Jusinski who placed 13th with a time of 20:29.10.
“My goal was to get out with the pack in front and maintain that for the first mile,” Jusinski said. “Having experience with the course definitely helped a lot. I knew where I could push myself and where I could best kick to catch the pack ahead of me. The hills in the second mile were the most challenging part and continuing into the third mile after having to go through those hills. I didn’t get the place I wanted, but I improved on my time.”
