Joseph J. Richter, 72, of Northampton, died Oct. 17, 2025, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg. He was the husband of Nancy L. (Diener) Richter for 27 years.

He was the son of the late Joseph E. and Mary A. (Grabarits) Richter.

He worked for many years at Keystone Cement Company before retiring in 2012.

He was a longtime member of American Legion Post 353 and a life member at the Hungarian Club, Northampton.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a stepson, Andy Wagner with Carolyn of El Cajon, Calif.; a sister, Nadine Hartzell with Frank of Indian Rocks Beach, Fla,; a brother, Michael of Allentown; two granddaughters, Charlene and Jacqueline; and nieces and nephews.

A private service will be held at the family’s convenience.
