Frances D. Sell, 88, died Oct. 20, 2025. She was the wife of the late Darwin R. Sell for 45 years.

Born in Lehighton, she was the daughter of the late Harrison and Elmira (Frey) Sheckler.

For many years, she was a den mother for Cub Scouts Troop 94 and was active with Catasauqua Baseball Association.

She was a longtime choir member of Salem United Church of Christ in Catasauqua.

She is survived by four sons, Randy and wife Rosemary, Richard “Smiley,” Robert and wife Paula and Rickey and wife Christine; a brother, Stewart Sheckler and wife Donna; 12 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a son, Raymond, husband of Pamela Sell; and a brother, Donald Sheckler, husband of Doris Sheckler.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
