District Attorney Stephen G. Baratta has announced the arrest of Kevin Charles Kratzer, of Bath Borough, following the seizure of substantial quantities of methamphetamine and marijuana from his residence.

On Oct. 22, members of the Northampton County Drug Task Force and the Pennsylvania State Police executed a search warrant at Kratzer’s residence in Bath. During the search, police seized 200 grams of methamphetamine and 175 grams of marijuana.

Additionally, police seized various packaging materials indicative of drug distribution. The approximate street value of this amount of methamphetamine is $2,000, while the marijuana is valued at over $1,500.

Kratzer is charged with two counts of Possession with Intent to Deliver, two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance, and one count of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Kratzer was arraigned in front of Magisterial District Judge Alicia Zito. Kratzer was committed to Northampton County Prison in lieu of $125,000 bail.
