The Bethlehem Area School District is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Jennifer LoConte as Communications Manager.

LoConte is expected to begin her new role in mid-November.

“We are excited to welcome Jennifer to the BASD administrative team,” said Superintendent Dr. Jack P. Silva. “Her extensive experience in communications, storytelling and media relations, combined with her personal connection to our schools, makes her an outstanding fit for this role.”

LoConte brings more than 20 years of experience in strategic communications, public relations and media relations across nonprofit, corporate and public sectors. She currently serves as Director of Communications for ArtsQuest, where she leads public relations, media engagement, crisis communications and messaging for one of the region’s leading arts and culture organizations.

Before joining ArtsQuest, LoConte held senior communications roles with DLP Real Estate Capital, the American Red Cross, and served as a media relations specialist with the Boston Police Department.

“As a proud graduate of the Bethlehem Area School District and a BASD parent, this opportunity is deeply meaningful,” said LoConte. “I look forward to sharing the incredible stories of our students, teachers and staff, and strengthening communication across our district and community.”

LoConte earned a bachelor’s degree in Writing, Literature and Publishing from Emerson College and a master’s degree in Criminal Justice from Suffolk University, both in Boston.
