Elise M. Jones takes helm at Fountain Hill
The Bethlehem Area School District is proud to announce the appointment of Elise M. Jones as the principal of Fountain Hill ES.
Jones brings over 15 years of experience in public education, including leadership roles as a principal and assistant principal at both the elementary and middle school levels. She is a passionate advocate for student success and has a strong background in literacy instruction, inclusive education and building positive school cultures.
Most recently, Jones served as principal of Easton Area MS and, before that, led Paxinosa ES for six years. She has headed and implemented numerous initiatives focused on closing achievement gaps, implementing trauma informed practices and fostering strong family and community partnerships. Her leadership style is collaborative and student-centered, and she is deeply committed to creating a safe, supportive and engaging learning environment for all students.
In addition to her professional experience, Jones holds a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Wilkes University and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Elementary Education Certification from Moravian University.
“We are excited to welcome Ms. Jones to Fountain Hill Elementary,” said Superintendent Dr. Jack P. Silva. “Her leadership experience, instructional expertise and commitment to building strong school communities make her an outstanding addition to the BASD team.”
As she begins her new role, Ms. Jones will focus on building strong relationships within the Fountain Hill community and supporting a culture of high expectations and belonging. Her leadership will emphasize academic growth, inclusive practices and meaningful family engagement, all of which align with the district’s commitment to educational excellence for every student.
