America’s Grow-a-Row is a 423-acre farm that grows and donates fresh produce to those in need, thanks to thousands of volunteers, donating over 25 million pounds across NJ, NY, PA, and beyond. Volunteer events are 9 a.m. to noon Monday-Friday and select Thursday evenings from April through mid-November. Join us in feeding our neighbors in need! Locations are in Pittstown or Milford, NJ. Community Bike Works offers programming at Easton High School Monday through Friday where students learn bike mechanics and explore the area on their bikes. Delaware & Lehigh National Heritage Corridor has volunteer opportunities to support their RaceFest on November 9 for any skillset, timeframe or location throughout the Lehigh Valley. Easton Area Community Center is looking for young men who would like to organize basketball and soccer and creative athletic activities for the children in the after-school program, ages K thru 8th grade. New Bethany’s Luminaria Night is a great opportunity for students, work, social, and community groups, to volunteer together assembling luminaria kits consisting of candles, paper bags, and sand, at a location on Center Street, Bethlehem, 4-6 p.m. Mon-Thur, Nov 3 through Dec 11. Looking for a meaningful way to give back this season? Join The Salvation Army, Allentown, in making a difference in our community through a variety of seasonal volunteer opportunities including signing up families for Christmas assistance, sorting coats and clothing for distribution, plus much more! The Salvation Army Children’s Services is looking for a photographer or two to join us at our annual Christmas party in Allentown to take pictures of our foster and adoptive families, 9 a.m. to noon on December 6. The images of family portraits and Santa visits can be returned to us in whatever format is agreed upon and we request that they are turned around within a few days.
