“Having spoken with over 10,000 voters over the past eight months, top issue is our taxes, raised 4% this school year, projected to increase a summed 20% over the next several.

“Second, safety. They hired and promoted a pedophile ignoring parent, student and teacher complaints, now facing an expensive court trial. No dedicated resource officers and many cameras have blind spots.

“Third, neglect of special needs: support and law adherence, students are suffering.

“Fourth transparency and communication: mute on topics and rarely inform parents. Board meetings are not engaging parents. I proposed opening them up to moderated video conferencing.

“Lastly, a corruption problem – the continued hiring of a lawsuit ridden construction firm putting staff and students at risk for years. Parkland has a leadership problem. It has a fiscal experience problem. It has an ethics problem. It has many problems. Needs folks with relevant, successful, real-world business experience.”
