Cedar Church, 3419 Broadway, Cetronia, held two celebrations on Sept. 21.
It was Harvest Home Sunday when members of the congregation saw there non-perishable food donations on display in front of the altar.
The donations came to a total of 287 pounds and were given to the Christ’s Church at Lowhill Food Bank to bolster their supplies.
And the second celebration was the return of their pastor, the Rev. Candi Cane-Borgman following knee replacement surgery in late August.
The pastor was heard to say on Sept. 28 that during the 21st she was ready to quit about half way through the service, but that on the 28th, she was very comfortable with the whole service.
The members were delighted to have her back and greeted her with love and warmth.
