To the Editor:

As a decade plus resident of Upper Macungie Township, I could not be more thrilled to see a former Parkland School Board director, Patrick H. Foose, is running to be one of the leaders of my township. Upper Macungie Township needs and deserves a leader with local and state government experience, which Patrick has from serving Parkland’s School Board and with his employment for the state legislature.

I’ve known Patrick for about 10 years and I’ve been extremely impressed by his intelligence, his listening skills and ability to solve complex problems. As a Fortune 100 Corporate Strategist for one of the top companies in the world, I’ve had the pleasure of meeting and conducting business with senior leaders across both government, military and industry and I’m proud to say I’d put Patrick in the top 5% of leaders I’ve had the honor of interacting with.

His skill set, his poise, his ability to not only get the job done, but getting it done thoroughly and well thought out is what impresses me most. He will be a great asset to our township as he’s crafted a well thought out plan for it, backed by data and insights he’s captured by speaking with voters and township employees alike.

I am fearful of his competitor being brought on as he has not produced a single data-backed plan with his campaign and I believe due to his lack of government experience (unlike Patrick), he’ll put our township in a downward spiral, especially given businesses that he’s consulted on in the past have simply, gone out of business. We cannot afford that in our township; what we need is a proven government leader like Patrick H. Foose. Join me in voting for Patrick on Nov. 4 for Upper Macungie Township Supervisor.
