To the Editor:

As a former Parkland School Board Director, I know the kind of leadership it takes to serve our students, families and taxpayers effectively. That’s why I’m proud to support George Rivera and David Caruth for the Parkland School Board.

George and David understand Parkland needs representation that understands how to budget responsibly and promote policies that positively impact the community at large. They will bring a balanced, thoughtful approach that prioritizes academic excellence, fiscal responsibility and open communication with parents and the community.

Both have demonstrated a deep commitment to transparency, accountability and ensuring every student in Parkland has the opportunity to thrive.

Importantly, they recognize the need to strengthen special education services so families don’t have to seek outside help to get the accommodations their children need. Ensuring all students, regardless of ability, receive the support they deserve is essential for a district that truly serves everyone.

Our district needs leaders who will listen, collaborate and put students first. I’m confident George Rivera and David Caruth have the experience, character and vision to keep Parkland one of Pennsylvania’s top-performing districts.
