Letter to the Editor: In support of Patrick H. Foose
To the Editor:
I have had the privilege of knowing Patrick H. Foose for the past five years. While we have not always agreed on every issue, Patrick has taken the time to speak with me in depth about where he stands and why. That dedication to communicating with me and other constituents shows he is passionate and cares to listen to every side of an issue.
It is with absolute confidence that I can say Patrick is uniquely qualified for the role of Upper Macungie Township supervisor. His experience on the Parkland School Board, combined with his work in the Pennsylvania State Senate, gives him a perspective and skill set that will serve the community well.
Patrick brings to this race the same dedication and focus he brought to his service as a school board director. He is committed to making meetings more transparent, hosting town hall-style discussions, creating an emergency services advisory group and ensuring that Upper Macungie Township ordinances are followed, particularly related to zoning and tractor-trailer traffic.
He is also a strong advocate for actionable policies that directly enhance the lives of Upper Macungie residents. Patrick has outlined clear steps to preserve green space and farmland, protect the environment, and ensure responsible growth that balances development with sustainability. His platform prioritizes practical solutions that protect what makes Upper Macungie special, from parks and trails to working farmland that sustains our local heritage.
For these reasons, I wholeheartedly support Patrick H. Foose for Upper Macungie Township supervisor. Upper Macungie residents would benefit from his leadership, experience and commitment to improving their quality of life.
