Sharon Diane Stopay, 73, of Northampton, died Oct. 11, 2025, at Comhar Personal Care Home in Walnutport. She was the wife of the late Barry L. Stopay Sr.

Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Carson Sr. and Annie (Palmer) Moyer.

She was a 1969 graduate of Catasauqua High School.

She was last employed as a mail sorter for the U.S. Postal Service, Allentown, for many years until retiring in 2015.

She was a member of Grace United Church of Christ, Northampton.

She is survived by two sons, Barry L. Jr. and wife Nicole of Walnutport and Scott M. and wife Jill of New Tripoli; a daughter, Amy D. Gannon and husband Chris of Catasauqua; a brother, Carson Moyer Jr. and wife Jean of Whitehall; a sister, Sandra Keck and husband Dale of Whitehall; eight grandchildren, Zachary, Jacob, Aiden, Taylor, Luke, Paige, Quinn and Norah; a great-granddaughter, Vida; and many nieces and nephews.
